The main aim of the FAIR project is to address the problem of energy poverty in South Africa via the development, testing and adaptation of needs-tailored curricula, courses, learning materials and tools, both in Higher Education and professional training levels, in the field of Energy Poverty Alleviation Technologies.
The FAIR Masters programme aspires to train Engineering, Environmental and Natural science graduates to address the challenges of energy poverty.
In this context, the Master Programme encompasses the different sources of knowledge and experience required by the energy efficiency/security discipline. It offers education oriented to a multi-disciplinary understanding in a research-oriented environment with close cooperation with the industrial and policymaking environments.
